# Token Breakdown

There will be a capped supply of **1,000,000,000** (1 billion) **$STKS tokens.** These will be allocated as follows:

### **Core Team**

80,000,000 tokens (8%) will be reserved for the CardaStacks team payment for services provided. The tokens are locked for 12 months and can not be accessed.

### **External Advisors**

10,000,000 tokens (1%) will be reserved for external advisors in payment for various advisory and/or non-executive services

### **Treasury**

160,000,000 $STKS tokens (16%) will be reserved in the company treasury. This may be accessed if funds are required in other core areas including development.

### **DEX**

225,000,000 $STKS (25%) has been allocated for Dex and liquidity.

### **In-Game Rewards (Play2Earn)**

130,000,000 (13%) tokens have been allocated for P2E.

CardaStacks Keycard holders will be rewarded for engaging via events, games, and other activities throughout the Metaverse.

### **Giveaways + Discord**

$STKS tokens may be used for engagement and various incentives throughout the community such as exclusive giveaways, competition prizes, user-generated content prizes, and more.

### NFT Staking

225,000,000 $STKS (25%) has been allocated for staking rewards over a 5-year period.

CardaStacks NFT owners will be able to stake their Keycard NFTs and Avatar NFTs and claim montly rewards via our website. Every CardaStacks NFT that is held in a Cardano wallet will be counted as a staked NFT, and will earn daily $STKS tokens based on the rarity of the NFTs within that wallet.

Users are NOT required to lock their assets in a smart contract or even delegate to a pool to receive staking rewards.

At the end of each month rewards will be capped. Therefore the rewards will need to be claimed through our claims portal (<https://staking.cardastacks.com/>) to start earning daily rewards again.&#x20;
